Tallahassee Museum
As a nationally accredited history and natural science museum, we are excited to bring science and the arts, to life through engaging hands-on activities. From encounters with wildlife to exploring cultural heritage, your child will have an enriching camp experience at the Tallahassee Museum. Our integrated approach implements creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication into each day’s lesson plan.
Progressive Pediatric
We offer a fun and safe social setting for children of all disabilities. Our camps are modeled on a therapeutic approach that uses everyday opportunities to achieve skills in the natural setting. We provide Occupational, Physical, Speech and Music Therapy on site that can be arranged in conjunction with camp activities. Some strategies we employ within our camp structure include: sensory-based activities, social stories, peer social skill building activities, social-emotional regulation, behavioral management and social-skills training within a Conscious Discipline Framework. Activities include game time, outside play, arts & crafts, sensory/gym room time, music therapy and MORE! We are a provider for: Gardiner (formally known as PLSA), ELC and APD.
